Walk for Hope, Health & Healing: Join Our 2025 5K Events in Elko and Carlin

Mark your calendars and lace up your sneakers—Zero Suicide Elko County’s Walk for Fostering Hope, Health, and Healing is back this September! We invite you to join us for a meaningful and uplifting 5K walk/run happening in both Elko and Carlin as we unite for suicide prevention and community healing.

• 8:00 AM – Registration

• 8:30 AM – Opening Comments & Ceremony

• 8:45 AM – Walk/Run Begins

Whether you walk, run, push a stroller, or bring a furry friend, everyone is welcome. This event is about more than fitness—it’s about honoring those we’ve lost to suicide, showing up for those who are struggling, and spreading hope throughout our community.

💚 Why We Walk

This walk is a chance to reflect, connect, and take action. Many walk in memory of a loved one, to show solidarity with survivors, or simply to support suicide prevention efforts in Elko County. Together, we’re building a community where no one walks alone—and where healing is possible.
